Do you support libraries other than iTunes?
At the moment Similar iTunes is geared for optimal experience for iPod and iTunes enthusiasts. Additional players and libraries will be supported in the future. Drop us a line and let us know what formats you’d like us to support. contact us
What can expect from a Similar iTunes “Alpha”?
We don’t call it alpha for nothing! Our goal is to release the basic information first, and refine the other functionality as we go. Depending on what your goals are, initially you should at the very least be able to look at your profile, and view others in your musical vicinity. As with any alpha or beta release, please be patient and give us your feedback and suggestions (thanks!).
What about Playlists?
Playlists are not currently represented in iTunes XML output. That said, there are some interesting standards emerging for playlists such as “XSPF” ( http://xspf.org/ ) which we plan on implementing.
